Scouting Assistant imports your media, which includes photos and video and organizes them by Camera, Camera Location, and Import Date. You can filter by Camera and/or by Location to show only the media sets you are interested in. You can sort by Camera, Location and Date Imported by clicking the column header.
Use Scouting Assistant to Import your media from your camera’s memory cards. Start by selecting the drive that contains your flash card![]()
. Preview photos in order to identify the camera and its location.
Select the Camera and the Camera Location. Check Remove Source Media to have Scouting Assistant to clean your memory cards after importing.
Click the Import button![]()
to start importing the photos and videos to your computer. The media will automatically be sorted by the selected camera and location along with the date and time imported.
The imported Media Set is now available for processing. You can now watch![]()
photo slideshows, preview videos, and create your own videos using your favorite photos.
The Photo Playlists tab provides many features aimed at viewing your photos. You can click the Back and Next buttons to scroll through the photos or click the Play button to start a slideshow.
While viewing photos, you can also select certain photos or groups of photos and drag them into the working![]()
playlist. You can then save the playlist and give it a useful name. In the future you can load a playlist and view the photos in that playlist instead of having to plunder through hundreds of photos again to find those specific ones.
Press the Play button to start a photo slide show and use the speed control knob for faster or slower viewing.
Opening the Toolbox reveals a few extra features that include Playlist management, Email Photo, Open Photo and Score photo in TrophyScore™.
Note: If you have TrophyScore™ installed, Scouting Assistant will automatically enable this button. As you browse your photos, if you find an antlered deer you want to score, just click the TrophyScore™ button.
The Movie Player tab presents thumbnails for each imported video and allows for easy viewing at normal size and full screen.
The Video Creator tab provides an easy way to create video slideshows from your photos with a few simple clicks. Each Video is organized in the grid and can be previewed on screen, or using the Windows![]()
default video player (such as Windows Media Player), and Emailed (launch an email with the video attached).
